City lost to Wolverhampton 2-1
Everything seemed to be in favor of Manchester City on Saturday, even when Emmanuel Adebayor scored the opener against Wolverhampton in their last Premier League encounter. But just some minutes later, McCarthy's side equalised through Nenad Milijas and then Edwards netted the final 2-1 for the Wolves.
The result is even worst for Manchester City if we consider that this victory was Wolverhampton's first win since the opening day of the current season.
"We were better in the first fifteen minutes with several chances to score, but after that I don't know why, we did not play anymore. I'm sorry for the supporters" coach Mancini said after the game. Now his team is placed fourth in the Premier League table, behind Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea.
